Our story begins with a passion for bread and the relationships we have built with New York City’s finest bakeries delivering their breads to the most discerning chefs and best grocers for over 30 years. Artisan bakeries are the hearth of all communities, spreading joy from their ovens to your home. With the uncertainty of current times, we felt compelled to help these incredible artisans bring their delicious products to you and find new ways to stay in business altogether.
In less than a week, Bread Basket was born. And we’re ready to deliver your cravings for breakfast toast, healthy sandwiches, weekend bagels, afternoon sweet treats and decadent desserts. Cutting into a crusty sourdough loaf at the beginning of a family meal brings us together. Sneaking a perfect chocolate chip cookie when no-one’s looking makes us smile. Crafting tasty sandwiches for our kids on a seedy multigrain makes mom happy. These are the daily pleasures that make us feel grounded, and that everyone deserves.
In partnership with our friends at Orwashers, BAKED, Amy’s Bread, Pain d’Avignon, New Yorker Bagel, Leaven & Co and many more to come, our Bread Baskets are thoughtfully and deliciously curated. We have also focused on the utmost food safety, ensuring that everything in your Bread Basket is safely sealed straight from the oven.
Local, fresh breads and baked goods. Thoughtfully and deliciously curated. Delivered safely to your door.
When the COVID-19 Pandemic started we started Bread Basket to support our bakery partners and to feed our front line New York healthcare workers across the region.
We are proudly born in New York. In the city of hard knocks, we exist to support the passionate bakers and entrepreneurs of New York. We are with you Jerry.
Our baskets make amazing gifts for mom, dad, or anyone else in your life that loves incredible artisan baked goods.
