Our story begins with a passion for bread and the relationships we have built with New York City’s finest bakeries delivering their breads to the most discerning chefs and best grocers for over 30 years.
With the uncertainty of current times, we felt compelled to help these incredible artisans find new ways to stay in business and bring their delicious products to you.
In less than a week, Bread Basket was born. And we’re ready to deliver your cravings for breakfast toast, healthy sandwiches, weekend bagels, afternoon sweet treats and decadent desserts.
All the breads and pastries in our bread baskets are made in the five boroughs of New York City by talented local bakeries.
We do! We started our business as a wholesale supplier, for any wholesale inquiries, please feel free to get in touch with us and we can discuss further.
Yes. You can do this easily within your customer account with Bread Basket.
If you live in an apartment, we will attempt to deliver your bread basket with a doorman or by buzzing your apartment directly. We will even try and buzz your neighbors in order to leave the box inside. However, if we can’t reach anyone we will leave your box on your building doorstep.
If you live in a house, we will leave your Bread Basket on your doorstep.
Right now, we only ship to the lower 48 States of the U.S. But we are in the works of expanding our destinations - thanks for your patience!
Our shipping charges are based on the delivery method, size, weight, as well as the delivery destination.
We have a shipping rates calculator that's available when you add items to your cart, so you can estimate the cost before the checkout process!
If you place your first order before midnight on a Monday, you will receive your first basket on the Friday of the same week, otherwise the order would arrive the following Friday.
